Job security and work life balance.

Dislikes

Lack of benefits, there is no salary hikes or meaningful promotions. The year end evaluations for freshers and low level employees are more often than not just for show. I have been here for 3 and a half years and I haven't received a single benifit from this and it's not like I haven't been working. I have never been on bench, I am always involved in some project but still I feel like I am wasting my time.

Likes

Freshers will have good opportunity to learn and upskill in the project such as handling client calls, providing solution to the business, etc...

Dislikes

Weekend work will be frequent which leads to poor work-life balance. Salary and Hikes are comparatively very less for Job Role Systems Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer. I was trained and working as SAP SD Consultant but my Job Role is Senior Systems Engineer which doesn't provide any value to me as well as to my package. An average Consultant will have a good package compared to Senior Systems Engineer.

Likes

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. There teammates at Offshore are very helpful in terms of guidance. Training at Mysore was absolutely phenomenal. Career growth is fine which could be seen after having 3 years of experience. Work environment is good.

Dislikes

Compensation is average and the growth is very slow. Work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 12-14 hours straight in a day as I have to complete some random task given by On-site which is very challenging. I do receive client appreciation mails but they go mostly unnoticed during mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

The campus is vast and has all the world cast amenities. There is a clear-cut definition for job positions and salary bands.

Dislikes

Appraisal, the flat appraisal boundary is a myth. Your appraisal and promotion depend on how you act in front of delivery managers. Pathetic leave policies, I should say one of the worst leave policies in all the Indian tech companies. Team outings are done for namesake.

Likes

Although it depends on project, but till now for me it's been good working here, not much pressure and good stability and job security. I get leave whenever I want. I am still working from home after manager's approval, even though infosys have mandated it.

Dislikes

...ger to align me with a better project but they don't care what you want or like. Don't expect anything in Salary and Appraisal/Hike dept. I've been working without any increment from last 3 years.
