Don't join this company if you have less than 4 years experience they mostly give you support or testing projects only And whenever their budget is exceeding they will fire you immediately I won't suggest this company for juniors and associates We won't get any subject from that projects

everything is fixed pay only and job security more things you can learn in portal certifications also u can do any u want per year it is 1 and Hike always contains only fixed nothing will be added in variable

Variable pay is based on Performance of the company they will give it is not part of the CTC but it is based on Manager choice no fixed % if you are manager pet u will get 10- 15% No proper HR contacts if any issues happens and now they removed Work from home concept now we should come mandatory office 2 to 3 days in week

Likes

The working culture is excellent as the company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest Technology and I showed as an evidence many automations for My Client NEWCREST. Many of the Management Team has excellent Team coordination, cooperation and having Capable Client Management skills. The plus point is that many of my colleagues are from various cultural backgrounds and we work happily in collaboration.

Dislikes

Career growth point of view growth is slow and compensation is decent for long standing employees. Even the on job trainings are scheduled some times not able to attend for trainings due to promised Client deliveries. I do receive appreciation emails and Awards from Clients. Work pressure is high some times due to scheduled deliveries and some times have to attend Client meetings.

Likes

As compared to other companies IBM is more flexible in terms of work from home. Also, office politics is less. Whole compensation is fixed. Apart from that we kept on getting gift coupons at regular intervals. In last two years, I got gift coupons of Rs. 24000. Got cash award of 150 dollars for conducting interviews.

Dislikes

Annual hike is negligible, at times no salary hike. Also, since whole CTC is fixed, so at the top of CTC they give negligible variable pay though at the time of interview they will say 10-15% variable pay, actually it will never happen.

Likes

It is a great place for individuals who are interested in learning new skills. There is not much work pressure and you have a very supportive management.

Dislikes

...stration considering people expect things to move fast and quickly in corporate. Salary also can be a disappointment if you are someone who expect a yearly bonus/hike. IBM strictly follows pay for performance. So unless you are exceptional you shouldn't expect money....
