Unilever gives immense importance for learning and skill development,ease of work life balance,ease in switching the department,compensation or salary hike will be on your basic and not on overall CTC,but during promotions above WL 1D,its really good.Work culture is really good and give utmost priority to values.Employees are cared very well.Job security might be a concern for top level employees as they are highly paid and depends on overall global market.Other wise we will only find people continuing for years and years once joined Unilever.

.... People feel unsecured and lack of recognition. Politics at the highest degree. You will not get any job outside since your salary is high

...e bit hectic due to Rs point expansion per tso. Anyways the HUL Is best always.. compensation and growth are the two factors where they need to work. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my feedback.

UniOps is the IT center in India for Unilever globally. IT is a stable mammoth which provides the budget for experimentation and decent flexibility to shape your career as well. The experience can be really good with great tech or really bad and boring on old tech like SAP depending on the team you landup into. Global teams a good at work life balance while the GeoIT teams have a ruthless culture.

Dislikes

...teady. not much benefit of overperforming as it is not rewarded proportionately. Hikes are small and real hikes in pay come with promotions from one payband to other. Hierarchy sometimes becomes too much to handle and the culture is more on "Respect the old" side and easy to outperform the existing team mates with little extra effort.
