...ects to work, so there is bit security for job as you have plenty of work to do. Salary is on time. Will get chance to learn new things and certifications.

...process to pick persons who has not promoted for last more than couple of years. Salary hike is very less in percentage, mostly in single digit. Sometimes no hike at all. Fully micromanaging tool (Sapience) to check utilization of 9 hours, for which most of the employees are dissatisfied irrespective of theirs' successful project deliveries. No delivery office in Eastern part of India.

Consider yourself lucky if you get a decent team to work with, especially a good manager. The managers must be given soft skill lessons before the trainees.

... culture is totally at the mercy of the manager and no set rules are adhered to. Compensation and benefits are next to nil. No promotion and poor appraisals.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow.

...become a manager from Trainee in 2 years, in HCL, it will take around 4-5 years. Plus, the pay scale and benefits associated is just penny. Most people get increment of max 3-6%. The management will anyway show you the reasons for not compensating you.

Work culture is good and job is quite secure in hcl. Hcl does not do layoffs.

...ment by 55years as per hcl requirements policy, which no other IT company has. Salary hike is very low. In HCL do not expect to get your yearly performance bonus more than 75%.. This Performance bonus is included in your CTC. Very less training or certification scope. Onsite opportunities are plenty but there is lots of politics.
