If you are lucky enough to be part of the right team, you'll have good work life balance and a good team culture where you'll at least not be absolutely terrified of Mondays and drag through your week for the weekend. The leave policy was good while I was working at EYGBS. My team and team culture was devoid of toxic politics and I had the opportunity to decide what I want to do.

...ned in the JD also, the actual job is far from what the initial expectation was. The hiring process is a nightmare, salary is miniscule, almost every function has absolute chernobyl level toxicity, leaders favour their own people. Talent is colluded with head hunters for hiring and you'll get zero results on applying directly to career page. I was a part of an internal support team and had access to data and people from various functions in EY GBS. Apart from the fact that there is absolutely no clarity to ANYONE what they are doing, if you are a yapper you might succeed but in an incompetent space such as EY GBS, your likeability is your biggest asset, since there is no real work that gets done here.

Salary - offered decent bonu and hike if you perform well. People are good and understanding leave policy is excellent

promotions - they arent really based on your work but on how much extra you contribute to ey apart from work. ie time spent beyond 9 hours on other ey activities.

Nothing, I didn't find anything good in that organisation within my 2 years of work there

Everything 1. Office dirty politics 2. No transparency 3. Micro-Management 4. Very little or no hike in salary and they will give you same excuse every year that US and Europe market are down 5. No promotion, how can you expect a promotion when the organisation is struggling to pay you yearly hikes 7. No cab service 8. No subsidised cafeteria 9. No work life balance, they will ask you to work on Saturday as well. 10. No benefits over and above your salary 11. No team outing or any team activity, its always work, work and only work 12. The manager will always act like a boss, never as a leader 13. Whenever any project will have some mistake, they will out the blame on their juniors and leave no chance to take creadit if project will get appreciation from the client 14. Toxic culture and environment 15. They will make you fake promises regarding the work during interviews and then you will find that the work is totally different. 16. THINK BEFORE JOINING EY GDS. ALWAYS CONSIDER ANOTHER COMPANY OVER IT.

Its a best place in case you don’t want to grow in your career. month end you will be paid doesn’t matter how good or bad you are

Very bad salary hike, leaders themselves doesn’t know what they want from team members, you have to be serious every time otherwise you will be considered as immature but if leaders are making fun you need to smile and nod your head in their favour. Doesn’t matter how good or quick you are with your work you need to do overtime to get may be promotion

...ike how I could take breaks in between work without seeking anyone's permission. The bonus will usually be your one month's salary and I'm not aware if its good or bad

I don't want to tell it as dislikes but the job is not for eveyone 1. You have to mandatorily clear CA or ACCA exams within 4 years or else you will be stuck with the senior role. 2. Too much work load from January to March, yolk have to work late nights everyday and also on weekends if the work is not completed. 3. Only one way cab (post 8 pm) 4. They will not train you properly. The work will keep changing according to how your senior guides you and you will actually have to learn a lot of things about the work from your senior.
