As a testing engineer for near about 2 years at Exide work culter & job security is 100% only negative is bonus, promotion & appraisal system. Bonus will be max to max 60% of what mentioned in appoinment letter you will never get 100% until and unless you stay at Exide for more than 5 years.

Dislikes

Bonus will be max to max 60% of what mentioned in appoinment letter untill and unless you are willing to stay for more than 05 years, appraisal is also not that good very average only older people will receive more that's the reason most of the young generation is leaving the company within 03 years.

Likes

Good work environment. Helpful seniors and colleagues believe in team work. Company facilities are excellent and mostly important part is have a very good balance in both personal and professional life .

Dislikes

...and ego works on few seniors including misbehavior that hamper the work culture. Salary is decent but stagnancy in carrier growth. Few move with certain perception which was once arrasted in mind.

Likes

Compnay is good, it gives more chances to GETs and PGETs Engg. to grow faster. Salary hike is almost negligible max. 1 - 2% of CTC where as inflation rate is > 7%. So day by day you will become poorer. Politics is very hige in RnD. Top management looks how to reduce the man power. So job security is horrible. There is no pressure only redundant pressure of your top managements which will kill your state of mind.

Job security is very good. Salary and appraisal done at right time. Work environment is good.

Dislikes

No team work. Power distribution with executives are missing. Lots of politics between executive. No one try to educate others. Top officials feels speeking loudly will solve the problems. All developments are based on experiments. No one compare with theory. Mechanical engineers talks about chemistry and chemical man talks about mechanical. No one try understand the knowledge of worker who knows the machine by his experience. Work freedom for officers are missing. Everyone forced to listen to their boss wheather it is right or wrong. So most of the officers come to factory for two punch and one lunch. Overall, the company is good for old people and not for youngsters. Boost up is very much required for youngsters for long journey.

1. Salary on the last date of the month. 2. Travel expenses being cleared within 7 days. 3. Brand recall among end consumer.

Dislikes

1. Zero work life balance. 2. Saturday and some sundays too you will have to work. 3. Attrition rate of over 45% speaks volumes about the culture 4. Old Vs New lobby, where only the old junk will succeed 5. Average tenure of new recruits is less than 19-20 months 6. Processless and systems less organization 7. Toxic work environment because of some old junks waiting for their retirement and extention after that. 8. These old junk treat the new recruits as threat to them.
