The only thing that I like about Cognizant is it's name.

...to either login early or extend the shift. No WFH set-up nor internet allowance. If you want internet allowance allowance then you need to have a credit card and no matter what amount you pay for the Internet connection they'll only pay you Rs. 500/- that's it. There are many more like this but I really feel like this much information is enough to get an idea about the company.

The work-life balance could be better, Salary growth and increments could be substantial, Promotion that is not always on merit list, Senior Management communication and support from leadership should be better.

Management and promotions are based on favaourism and very poor in salary hike and mainly without discussion with employees management gives us performance rating and apart from work there is no other activity today like no outings team lunch and other fun activities

Job security is good here. Your process gets change only if you are unable to perform well in any manager expectations. Skill development totally depends on the team leader but I'm sure everyone can show off or polish their skills here.

...fe balance. HR is so rude when you asks for work from home in serious situation. Salary is too less for the work. Promotions are fixed even if you perform better you only get promoted after a certain time that also depend on your team lead likings.
