Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...any offers medical insurance, interest free EMI options and hike every 6 months. One thing I would like to appreciate is the no delay in salary even during crisis period. All major occasions are celebrated with great harmony and enthusiasm. During Covid 19 pandemic vaccination drives for staff and family are organized. Citrus Informatics is a safe and happy place to work with.
