Job security is there during COVID-19 Lockdown even there is no paycut in the salary. They managed well during this pandemic if we see the current no. of employees working in Capgemini. One thing where they can do better in this pandemic is providing laptop to the employees who are working in the city which is not their home town also in some projects I have heard that there manager helped some junior employee by providing 7-10k from the company's funds and this help is given to those employees who are working in the city which is not the employee home town. But this help is not given to all employees as it was not officially announced company policy where I got suffered in the initial days of the lockdown.

The one thing which is disasters in Capgemini is when you join the company as a fresher then you will never get a project with respect to the domain in which you were trained. I'll tell you my example, I was trained as a Java Full stack developer and after my training I have been allocated to the project where I need to do manual testing and HR put so much pressure saying that you cannot reject the project as you have signed the bond. Seriously at that point of time it looks like u.were just a name in the excel sheet. I have raised this issue in the company's HR meeting also but I know these giant never care the feedback which needs a change.

...oyees with 4-5 years of Capgemini experience yet not getting single appraisal….. Even they don’t pay the complete variable pay…… No-one knows exactly who decides the ratings n all ….and you won’t get any support from HR or delivery heads when you raise concerns over pay cuts or no appraisal…..Please don’t join if you have other offers in hand …. You will get stuck as the notice period is 90 days

I worked in Capgemini 1.8 years, HRs are too toxic, very poor management. HR won't be talk you properly. I should recommend plz don't join Capgemini.

...re toxic, they don't care about employees. There is proper policy for employees. No salary hick, no promotion, no work like balance. Third class management..

Work Life balance although project dependent, skill development is highly focused area, work satisfaction is again project dependent, Company culture is very good, Job security is also very good.
