Increment Structure, Management, Management does not Understand your Issue Rather they only do blindly as per the Client's Instruction. Employee Retention Ratio is Very Poor. If you make a little mistake in work though it does not affect the client's main data, they will harass you for at least 3-4 months. The management Considers its employees as a resource but not a living Human.

Likes

Capgemini itself is a good organisation, it has lots of good project. If you get into one of those you can growth there in terms of experience, skills, promotion and compensation.

Dislikes

Capgemini management in Kolkata is worst, do not join the Kolkata office if you want to get a good culture. As I have worked for different locations. Management in Kolkata is worst than ever, I strongly suggest the CEO of Capgemini to look into this. Women harassment in Capgemini Kolkata is a major concern, were Capgemini itself is a women centric company, promotes women security. We are bound to take the mandatory training of POPSH in our probation period, but the Kolkata team never bothered to come forward, if some cases are updated in POPSH.

The huge scope of learning and upskilling. If you have a time after completing your project you can learn they will provide Coursera course from where you earn certificate after complete the particular course. If you work very hard, more than schedule time, with perfect delivery they will definately recognise you give you a reward.

Salary and hike is very low.

The salary structure is poor in Kolkata. If you get a promotion or a yearly increment the hike remains same to 5-7%.. They will provide you a retention bonus but will never increase in your fixed salary

They paid the salary in 'time'. Sorry to say,except that I do not find anything good about capG in last 3 years.

1)Horrible management. They can do anything at any moment. 2) Salary hike 2%-4%. Never except more than this. 3) No shift allowance. 4) HR is worst. 5) Even for the system problem they can blame you.
