The only thing i liked abt the company is that capgemini keeps paying the salary every month on time even when the employees are on bench.

Dislikes

Capgemini did mass hiring. And from past 8-9 months kept the employees on bench without any project.

...ause they "An IT Company" don't have a system to manage employee data. LOL!!! Ensure a good salary hike while joining, because later, no matter if you work 4 hours of 24 hours you ain't getting anything more than 5%. Overtime and shift allowances are the lowest and it's a pain to claim all those. There are loads of apps for everything, and it gets frustrating at times to manage simple things like leaves or uploading tax proofs. Managers who are working for 10-15 years don't have actual work other than sending timesheets, fun activities, surveys, certification reminders. and playing dirty politics. Surprisingly, these same managers have the biggest and most fragile EGOs. Management and team members sitting onsite make sure their job is safe, and no other team member would go onsite so the billing remains low. Overall, if you become a manager's pet, it's an ideal company for you. If you raise concerns about processes, you will be tortured irrespective of your performance. Capgemini policies are very much employee friendly and all this could be in your favour if your manager wants. The shift is only from Monday to Friday.

...y, it's very common to get misinformation usually from your seniors or HR even . Also every year the portal of timesheets are down for 3 months so salary of those months are delayed and in question. And taking break is very limited but only if you are one of the favourites of your manager you can definitely get away with it.

... and junior managers don't know how to talk with new joiners or with employees. Hr's and manager are too confused about job role and salary/ location discussion. At first they agree on everything but once you joined they company they deny on everything that has been discussed earlier even if it's on mail ..and put you on bench and after 6 months asked you to leave due to bench period over or you are not able to be billable. Also your probation with not be confirmed and having said that they will kick you out of the company. Even if you complain to HR about the issues. So if you want to stay in this company don't stand for your rights and just stay as per them because manager and HR ...they can change policy anytime as per their convenience and ask to to obey otherwise there will be termination which leads to no job security in this company.
