...re they put you through. For amazon you will only be a NUMBER not a human being. The good thing is the salary and benefits are good compared to other companies as you will get goodies, gifts, meal coupons, night shift allowance. Also amazon gift cards during peak season. There is no Job security because you have to constantly maintain your numbers. Work life balance is terrible. Think a lot before you join.

...g the customer you have to acknowledge the messages that are sent on team group. You will not be able to question your team managers because if we do they will raise the salary topic mentioning do you deserve this kind of salary for your work, so you will keep quite at that time. Also lookout for emails the managers will send every thing in the form of emails the feedback is also given through email as they want it to be documented, even if you receive a one on one feedback. You will be able to experience many things there. This was my experience.

Amazon paid salary on time and no compromise over compliance. I like both things

Amazon is a very good company but Third party employees are not feel safe due to contracting and third party employees growth is very very low

Pay is good for freshers and a good place to start your career.

Dislikes

Lack of career growth, no skill development opportunities. Only way to get promotion is by doing a minimum of 4 projects/process improvements. No recognition for the smaller teams and its members.

senior managers need a target every year to terminate, no work ethics they do not know what KPI is and measured if 15 team members is there and all meet their targets which is productivity, no errors etc however is last in the stack is put on PIP Which is not ideal for the end user Scorecards that cannot be automated by the l4 manager is considered as a negative point and the manager is removed from the company

I joined on sep 2020 as a contractual employee but due to god grace got converted to permanent employee during 2020 21 the work culture the management level was good but slowly things got changed.

Dislikes

...No promotions i’m working as customer support associate for almost 4 years No proper salary hike Managerial level people will make us work as a robot Work life balance is gone because the shift gets changed on monthly basis We are forced to work overtime and extra time during peak days will get extra payment but its very difficult to work as the call flow will be high and no time for us to take rest
