I worked for amazon for a contract period of 6 months literally i have been to hell,Amazon is a good place to work if you are looking for higher pay scale, and you don't care about the pressure they put you through. For amazon you will only be a NUMBER not a human being. The good thing is the salary and benefits are good compared toother companies as you will get goodies, gifts, meal coupons, night shift allowance. Also amazon gift cards during peak season. As for me it was work from home due to pandamic situation. You have to complete your daily 9 hours shift even if you face any technical issues with system or network you have to extend your shift and complete the 8 hours shift if you take out the 1 hour break. There is no job security because you have to constantly maintain your numbers,,. The PM' s will tell you that if you work hard you will be recognized by the higher managment, but they don't give a s**t about you as i mentioned you are just a NUMBER to them, if you don't maintain your numbers you will be put into "PIP" Performance Improvment Program. If you fail to maintain your performance there your employment will be terminated. You have to support other role or market place other than what you are trained on, you will not receive any additional training for this you will just receive a mail with instructions and you will be asked to support other market place. You have to constantly check your phone esspecially your whatsapp because the communication will be through whatsapp only, even though the message is not relevant or important you have to check whatsapp for each and every message even though if you are in the middle of taking calls or supporting the customer you have to acknowledge the messages that are sent on team group. You will not be able to question your team managers because if we do they will raise the salary topic mentioning do you deserve this kind of salary for your work, so you will keep quite at that time. Also lookout for emails the managers will send every thing in the form of emails the feedback is also given through email as they want it to be documented, even if you receive a one on one feedback. Work life balance is terrible on a daily basis you will just sleep the entire day because of night shifts. If you are in to morning shifts you can have a good work life balance.

Work days: Rotational Shift (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
