Care about employees safety in work and outside work . HSW policy which saves lives. Work hard party harder .

Dislikes

Could have saved more jobs instead of getting afraid of computation and closed many stores and profiles to save few money. Uper management was safe and people who wr actually sweating for company on field wr sacrificed.

Excellent atmosphere to work, the employees at Idea cellular are very friendly & most importantly the senior management & line managers are very supportive. You are never restricted to think out of the box & never forced to follow only instructions of your seniors. Innovative ideas are welcomed with a smile & even if they fail, the blame game is not played.

Dislikes

After merger with Vodafone India Ltd, the top management changed & every important decision making role was given mostly to employees who came from VIL & Idea Cellular team was ignored by the merged entity. As the management changed, the policies changed & most of VIL policies are not so employee friendly. One small example is the safety policy which strictly monitors small things such as employee was wearing a ISI marked helmet or not while coming to work & if found that its not an ISI marked helmet, you will be issued termination letter which I think utter stupidity....Read More

The culture @Vodafone is so healthy. The hierarchy is well defined with clear cut responsibilities. Training is one of the best things about working with Vodafone whether you have joined the company recently or promoted to a different role.

Dislikes

Due to low revenues company has started laying off emoyees which is less impacting individually but new recruitments have been totally stopped which impacts the daily operations so badly.

I was a store manager for 2 years at Vodafone. After merger the work load increased and work life balance impacted and due to less staff the role was becoming hactic.

Some safty policies i didnt like as to wear a reflective wear in day time. Its meaningless for a store team members . Yes its about good for the members who r wrkinng as a field employee.
