Uplers has promoted itself as the best place to work where annually they organise "workation" what they don't tell you is even if you dont want to go they will unofficially raise pressure. Going to the destination and coming back is your expense whether it is flight or train you have to bear. It's not 2-3 days but 7 days workation where your schedule will be screwed. You will not stay in any swanky place but the most reasonable and remote resort they have finalised which will be cut off from the city. Going out and about the city will be your expense. Food will be mediocre anything else you wish to order will be chargeable. They will force you to participate in group outings during this trip and then split the bill equally. In the end you will end up spending 20k+ from your own pockets and tag #uplersbestplacetowork on linkedin. 0 work culture or job security. Managers and mid management have lost their soul and humanity. Anyone is sick replace them. Anyone is pregnant replace them. Workation is an optional program that we offer to our employees who want to work remotely from a different amazing location and have some fun and relaxation. We do not force anyone to join the workation and we respect the personal choices of our employees. We provide all the information regarding workation like travel and resort location in advance so that everyone can plan their trip accordingly. We also arrange pickup and drop from the nearest airport or railway station to the resort.
