I am the part of management and this company open to innovation & adopt latest technology.I get travel abroad especially to the singapore and Malaysia.

The work pressure is very high. Sometime i have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night.

It's a Govt. of India Undertaking working on sale of general insurance (non life) products, viz. Motor, Fire, Burglary, Money, Marine both Hull & Transit, Health (Mediclaim), PA risks & what not ! Trade, Commerce Industries can not run minus general insurance coverage, which compensate the loss unexpected to run the wheels once again. Innovative products are being looked after, as per need of the time & nation. Work environment is very good & staffs now being recruited are highly educated & dedicated. Engineers, Doctors, Law graduates, CAs along with Generalist are all building up their Career here. Training programs are held time to time to make the staffs better equipped. Salary also very lucrative with DA revised quarterly. LTS, Mediclaim coverage subsidised, Festival advance, Pension / PF. HB / Vehicle loans & other so many benefits are there. Government reservation policy may sometimes delay one's promotion: but same can be overridden with your exceptional performance & higher technical qualification. Another hiccup is your immediate boss should be cooperative & reliable one without any prejudice to your career growth. Notwithstanding, I do not find any such hurdling undercurrent.

I joined as Assistant in 1984 and promoted to Scale-I Officer in 2002 for want of my personal interest & any technical qualification. I completed FIII thereafter besides my English MA. I retired as Sr. Branch Manager with lot of satisfaction.
