Dislikes

Frequent layoffs after admission season over mostly during July to December. No appraisals for employees, poor management for business growth, dictatorship, no funds for vendor payments, off roll employees. Late night meetings till 2:00 AM morning.. Untrained teachers, poor teaching pedagogy.

Observed some concerning issues at Unacademy that affect work environment and overall morale. One of the main concerns is the delayed salary payments. We are asked to teach in other branches as well, but they don't even provide travelling expenses. We, Educators, are referred to as 'Service Providers' instead of Employees. There isno yearly increment policy. No encashment of casual leaves. In a nutshell, there are no employee benefits for the Educators. There appears to be a tendency to hire individuals who are close relatives of those in senior positions. I found some Educators those who even don't properly teach the lesson and unable to write spellings as well. These Educators are supported a lot as they are very much obedient to those who are so called Seniors. Moreover the workplace politics are very high and it often feels like a toxic environment. It's disheartening to see colleagues being mocked, or talked about negatively behind their backs. Such behaviour undermines teamwork and respect among employees. i am writing this review as an assistant sales manager, and giving a rating of 1/5 or 10 because their work culture is worse and even they can fire you anytime after the seasonal period will be done of IIT JEE/NEET UG or any brand. They will fire you anytime, do not join this company, for example they fired his director AKASH GIRIDHAR for cost cutting.

culture is bad , as byjus people shifted to unacdemy , no appraisal , no hikes , random layoffs. they push you for marketing even that's not part of your job visit schools. Center head and upper management doesn't let u take week off.

Only the infrastructure and the servicses provided to office staffs is good.

They are hiring uneducated people's in such department who have no links related education and all with it they gave power in inefficient people who cannot handle their own works but knows only to interfere in others works. With it politics play, rude behaviour, Uneducasy, no discipline, no management nothing is there is correct

Old leadership was good. Right now its all byjus people and culture is gone. Gaurav munjal just care about revenue. No resources to close any sale.

Dislikes

Culture is down to drain. No one is there for you. Cannot take leaves ever. I had 60 paid leaves accumulated in 2 years. You can get fire anytime. Everyday is the same story, get sale anyhow.
