If you are joining as SDE2, you are just a coder who is asked to code. You are not here to think or make decision. I had other offers while joining Tesco but I choose since it's a big name and near to my home. However, after I joined I got trapped into so much politics that I had to leave within months. People were terrible and noone will respond if you ping them to ask something. Then in every 15 days, manager will schedule meeting to discuss what all went wrong without telling any good thing about you even when you are doing the work that gets assigned. No rule for old timers like in my team i saw few members only after 2 months i joined. But new joiners it's WFO policy and manager will be there to point out if you missed to come. I am still working for a Fortune 100 company only but joining TESCO was the decision that I regret the most in my life....Read More
