An excellent company overall. There is much to learn and much to evolve with the regular requirements in a retail chain big shot like Tesco. Great work atmosphere with zero tolerance for any discrimination are the pros.

Career growth within Tesco is very saturated.

Team mates are supportive , Since i was on contract i was not getting any direct benfits. Managment doesnt treat contract employees properly , there is no respect for contract employees in Tesco.

Because of few people at upper management, the entire experience was spoiled. Not at all suitable for contract employees. They treat you like bonded labors. In the team where I worked, there was no particular metric to measure one's performance. It all depended on how well your relation with your manager is. very few people actuallywork and rest all are busy in buttering up to the senior managers. They have survey's which will be "CONFEDENTIAL" but if you highlight any issues, then he management will start finding flaws in your work and since there is no metrics as such so its their word vs yours.
