I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

Work life balance is completely based on your project. If you are lucky you'll be peaceful with your work. Infrastructure is good

No learning opportunities. Promotions are often withheld for no reason. No salary benefits and negligible hike. Some projects dont even appreciate your hardwork.

Most of the projects are support type and you cannot get enough WFH flexibility extra curricular activities are very much restricted,less hikes and on site opportunities.

Lot of challenges for new joiners. Very slow process. Roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined. I joined as a Project Manager but expectations are to manage the sales and marketing role as well. No KT session, process is not clearly defined. You will feel alone because there is no buddy system. The work culture is not good.. Keep working like typical corporate slave.. HRs don't share the policy when asked.. on top of that it depends on the project side and the manager to approve certain policy.. Then why it is made a TCS policy not sure.. ex. WFH for non birthing parent
