Freshers can learn and gain skills sets and can switch to another company. Tcs is not like company it is more of like school. After college you can start your professional journey from here. But it has its own drawback which I'll discuss in dislike section. Some of Its policy is good but also these have its own drawback XD. such as health insurance benifits, No layoff policy.

Lack of employee centric policy. Most of the people working here because of job security and life insurance benifits. Salary of a freshers is not practical according to current days scenario. Freshers have less scope to grow up and less promotion opportunities. No matters how much work are you delivering higher management will only force you to come back office. Some people do nothing literally just only sucking the company. Management is puppet. There is nothing to like about tcs. If you want to stay forever then only come toh tcs. Because in tcs , you will not able to learn anything. They will tell you about project and when you accept that project and start attending calls then you come to know that this is very different what they told.

Does not have good Projects. No learning. Forcefully put in manual testing work. No appraisal and hike.

Bossism , Regionalism of Andhra Folks, pure politics, no hikes at all , bitching and voilent leads , Extremely toxic culture, too much pressure in the project, no recognition, no acknowledgement, no spot awards , Nothing to add particularly in CV , all stupid support work , pathetic, pathetic and extremely pathetic project. The overall experience is good, but need to get more exposure if are in a big team otherwise your notable works are not even considered on appraisals/promotions.

Appraisal is not prior based on performance alone. Also not a good company if you are joining as a fresher, I would suggest if you are joining after 2-3 companies.

Appraisal pattern was horifing , favouriteism are there for Appraisal , RNR, work from home facility, company policy is against favouriteism under the Tata code of conduct but still it is very common in projects. Experience and talented employee get 3-4 % salary hike for YOY but favourite employee gets 7% hike minimum.

Only labors can work here not engineers. It’s not a IT COMPANY It’s a labour shop where labors getting delivered to clients . Nothing to like just hate this company.
