My team was cooperative, friendly and very helpful. There's a sense of job security in TCS. The project was good and I had good learning there. The client was very supportive. Overall the work culture in this project was average.

Dislikes

I did not see any career growth in my project. Due to WFH, manager expects employees to be available 24x7. At times, I have worked 12-14 hours a day ; attending client calls, internal calls and managing work. There was a lot of work pressure. Seems like we were rushing to complete the tasks and deliver to customer. Initially, there was no work-life balance at all in the project. After many escalations shift timings were fixed. Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
