Job security due to Tata brand. Nothing more positive about this. Most of the people are just for Tata brand. HR and senior management will boast a lot about company during interview process, but once you join you will realise they have no clue of what they are doing.

- Yes boss culture - No vision - Less salary compared to market - long hierarchy - No sync between tech and product. After CTO left, company is clueless. Changing tech stack every month.

I personally like the opportunity I get to work on multiple projects. I have had the chance to work on 2 big projects in under a year, and it has spiked my learning. I've had the chance to interact with leadership often. I like that in these sessions there is no hierarchy and it's nice to be heard by people who are making the big decisions.

Lack of processes can slow things down quite a bit, and one has to follow up a lot.

Immediate reportees to CEO are having one or more of the following: Boss cultute, Dictatorship, How to please CEO, How to restrict the data, Arrogance, No leadership, No vision, No customer oriented policies, Skillset gap, Unprofessional behavior. It is a Tata company, so it continues to attract some good people too.

Dislikes

The culture is quite poor. While the new CEO seems to have made efforts to change things, the overall work culture still isn't great, as a lot of the previous leadership continue. Hope Ratan Tata's passing, makes people remember his spirit and values, and what it means to be a Tata company. Right now, I guess I'm not sure if we can say that we are.

Work Culture is great, but this is very specific to team you're in. Lots to learn being young startup across all tech stack. Overall good.

Dislikes

No proper procedures or approvals to get things done, lacks leadership. No proper role and levels distinction. Promotions are very slow and kinda biased. Appraisal hike is very less for SDEs.
