I can’t even think of where to start. There’s no accountability, no planning, and no set processes in place. Everything is ad hoc and chaotic. Work-life balance is non-existent—you’re expected to take work calls even on weekends. You’re often asked to make PPTs late into the night over the weekend because some leader decided to meetwith the partner at the last minute. What’s astonishing is the lack of an SOP or framework for promotions. Half-yearly targets are given in July because no one bothered to share the KPIs on time. This happens because ratings and promotions are entirely subjective and perception-driven. There’s no bell curve, and no performance scores are published to help you benchmark yourself against your peers. The HR team is weak and heavily influenced by business leaders. If your manager dislikes you and decides to put you on a PIP, don’t expect HR to be impartial or allow you to put your case forward—this is not the place for that. The attrition rate is at an all-time high, and the organization doesn’t bother filling vacant positions for months.
