I was given the opportunity to join considering I was from a different industry which is a good thing , but I was not given the opportunity to perform. I did not have a proper hand holding to understand the process , system and what is expected including guidance on the structure. The person I was shadowing did not have time post work , before work or even during work to connect and communicate any queries. All the queries were told to be communicated on whatsapp and not on call. While it would have been an awesome platform for me to learn and develop professionally , people don’t have the time . There are three meetings through the day each of 1hour or so each , the only evening meeting is a little shorter of 30 minutes. You cannot openly speak to the CEO of the organisation without going through your mentor. For someone who is settling in , colleagues don’t offer help and support in understanding the system… how will one learn especially when the first two months are crucial ?...Read More

Mentioned above … you are working from home but have 3 hrs of meeting per day of the 9hours of work you do … sometimes it extends beyond.
Team is understaffed so there is alot of pressure.
