My team had a lot of politics, but the good thing is I never complained and I left the organization for a much better opportunity. The good thing was HR was supportive during background check, he knew what had happened with me and supported me.

My peers were not at all supportive. There was a lot of blame game that happened with me. There was no manager in my team. Team lead himself used to consider himself a manager. Although he was there in the firm for more than 4 years and have an overall experience of 11+ years, no one is going to promote him. Because for that he need to have that managerial skill :). Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
