Sirion is perfect example of poor leadership, and it can destroy the workplace. There is absolutely no vision, no strategic direction - just chaos managed by incompetent and unprofessional managers who can't even write basic word of english. Instead of focusing on actual productivity, the management is obsessed with pointless micromanagement. You forced to fill out excel sheets every single hour, documenting what you did - minute by minute - as if you're a machine. This is only wastes time but shows a complete lack of trust in employees. Performance Ratings: Don't Bother. They are based purely on the manager mood, not your work. no matter how hard you work, if you don't butter up your manager, your performance will be rated poorly. And Yes - They can fire you anytime, without notice or logic, because there is zero job security here, Your entire career hangs on the whim of unqualified seniors. In stable projects, they play politics. Instead of rewarding good work, they recycle same people who suck up to them. Meanwhile, they keep bothering nonsense like: - How many meetings did you attend in a month? -How long did you take to write an email? -How much time did you spend on teams call? - How much suppliers you are managing and how much time you are taking in a month for that? Basically, Sirion Managers treated us like School Student, Not a professional. Managers here seem to have nothing better to do than waste your time. They have production release every Saturday which effectively turns the job into a six-day workweek due to the reoccuring post-release issues. Their infrastructure relies on basic EC2 instances with no Kubernetes or any other orchestration tools. As a result, the work is limited to Level 1 system Engineering tasks under the guise ofSRE and DevOps. Additionaly serious concerns have been raised regarding the leadership style of Mr Pankaj Mathur, Senior Vice President. It has been observed that towards the end of each financial year he allegedly pressures managers to terminate at least two team members as a cost-saving measure to secure year-end bonuses. It's been a great experience at Sirion and I like how we can manage our own schedules. The hybrid setup gives good work- life balance. The work itself is challenging and helps you grow technically. Overall a positive experience.

Dislikes

Food allowance could be better. Feedback cycle can be slow sometimes.

I've been at Sirion for 15 months now and the one thing that stands out is how feedback- driven the company is. You don't just work on screens- you actually get to sit with the product and engineering and shape how things work.

I joined Sirion almost a year ago and I 've seen firsthand how fast things move here. What surprised me most was how approachable the leadership is-you can walk up to someone from leadership team and have a genuine conversation which wasn't the case in my previous role at a larger competitor.

Dislikes

Processes are still maturing-sometimes you feel the "growing pains" of a scaling company. Internal tools could be more streamlined for cross-functional work.
