Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

San Miguel is an excellent company for competency development and executive training. It has excellent infrastructure to support personal and career development.

Dislikes

The patronage culture can really demotivate many well meaning professionals.

My work was heavy with technical and management disciplines. I was responsible for a critical which made it challenging and interesting but highly stressful at the same time.
