While a lot was promised initially, there was a lot of ambiguity on the role. Only positive experience was understand the NGO/FPO Landscape.

Dislikes

1. There is a lack of clarity on the role. 2. Pivoting every few months without understanding the market. 3. Some of the manager lack professionalism. HRs promise to look into harassment, but nothing good comes out of it. My last few months at Samunnati were the most traumatic work experience of my life. 4. The only people who are willing to take loans at the high rates that Samunnati offers, are the most riskiest clients. When defaults used to take place(inevitably, collection agents were sent to collect dues, who at times behaved in a very unprofessional manner. The AMLA framework is more like SHAM-LA. 5. The senior manager somehow think that bullying juniors is the best way to get the best out of them. A lot of my peers have suffered working here. I hope the HR managers look into training the senior managers to treat the juniors with dignity and respect. My advice to the HR/Management 1. Make better products. If the product is bad, the sales guys are not responsible for it. Sooner or later people are going to see through the facade. 2. Do not manufacture good reviews. A majority of the reviews here are posted on the same days. Looks like some instructions have been sent to give 5 star reviews. You can manufacture all the good reviews you want, but if your product is not strong and if your managers do not treat people with dignity and respect then the future is bleak. If you are fair with your employees you will get good reviews and you would not have to force them to publish their reviews :-) I would advise everyone looking to work here to be wary. But lot of favoritism, politics, work life balance is very poor as a culture across organization, since people who go beyond their work space and cut into personal space and time are hailed. This is not a good culture since it will affect all other employees to meet these expectations.
