Samaritan Society of Mizoram is a Non Profit Organization worked mainly under State Aids Control Society where we have projects and targets to give and provide care and support towards the prevention and spread of HIV/AIDS. The main reason i like working at SSM is the fact that we help other people having problems or facing problemsin their lives and teaches and rebuild those in needs and giving them lives again. Especially with those people living with HIV / AIDS, and trying our best to stop spreading HIV/AIDS by different services we had given. And the other thing i like about working at SSM is also that all the staffs are working as a team we are like family we tried our best we all help each other in our work as well because we know that we all worked for the same thing. About training, there are different staffs like Project Manager, Accountant, Outreach workers, Peer Educators, nurses and doctors, training are given to us by the SACS, we all had different line of work and way of working. I learned loads of things here in this organization starting from maintaining office files and accounts, using different kind of process and software from dealing with people with depression and it really motivate me in every ways.Our salary and travel expenses was fixed by NACO cant do much about it, the project budget itself was fixed by NACO, but whatever the salary was it was awesome working here....Read More

Dislikes

Maybe the work pressure sometimes. I actually do not know what to say about disliking this organization. All the activities, services we provided, supply of there needs, involvement in the community it is a great work. Pressure is always there in every work i guess.

Work Details

My work is just to maintain the office file and budgeted accounts book keeping maintains stocks and checking everything we need for providing services and utilizing it properly. I loved it here because i have so many experience in different zone.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)
