People who don't even understand ML have taken promotions and are leading the project as technical architect. Promotions are a joke here. My manager has zero understanding about ML and was converted from business analyst to Machine Learning Engineer and now leads the team (This is not a joke)< /mark>. There is absolutely no work life balance here. Management doesn't have a clue of what they are doing. The leads commit unrealistic deadlines and you have to work over the weekends to meet them. The HRs don't even tell you how the performance rating algorithm works. My HR once told me they 'cannot reveal it'. The increments are peanuts. You'll have to work on multiple projects at once because there's a lack of resources always. Why ? Because people keep quitting because of such toxic environment !
