Very good behavior from peers and superiors. Leaves are provided to employees when needed. Support from IT Team and HR Team whenever required. Accessories provided are great. Employee receives a lot of training before starting regular work.

Had to work for 11 1/2 hours everyday. Office timing is from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm. On busy days had to work for 14 to 15 hours. Management pays no heed to employees regarding work timing and often talks about mitigating this issue by rotation of employees which was never initiated by the management. Very high employee turnover and almost all departments are short staffed. On busy season employees had to push even harder. Have noticed many instances where management could have functioned better and could have redressed a lot of issues. Have shown lack of proper managerial skills. No core or centralized management system in place. Risk of system falling apart during busy seasons eventually leading to increased load on employees shoulders. Having worked at Pwc India Advisory for 5 months, I have noted the following: Pros- 1) The brand name which will help you bag better opportunities in the future. 2) Salary is better than most other companies (but still not good enough to compensate for the work load). 3) The work environment is pretty casual. 4) The interview process was easy. Cons- 1) There is NO work-life balance. You'll have to work almost all weekends (for 8 to 9 hours each day) in addition to weekdays. 2) Working hours stretch for almost 12 hours everyday. 3) They will hire you for something particular but then make you work on something where you have no expertise absolutely. 4) Leadership is poor. Your manager/director/lead won't help you out or ask if you're facing any issues while working. Whatever you do, is on you only. 5) There are no benefits like leave encashment, comp off, etc. so you'll be left absolutely drained and tired. 6) There are no learning opportunities. As an employee, PwC is good. There is job safety along with timely pays. It also follows a time bound promotion policies.

Dislikes

They have so many softwares or apps for employees to record attendance and other stuff. These are not inter linked. They keep updating these and sometimes change their softwares very quickly creating confusions.
