Everything works in the mood of the founder, He cuts leaves, expenses if he thinks that someone has not done/completed the work even after employees working 18 hours. He blatantly says don't ever come at the time of promotions and appraisal and your growth in the firm is over. They put employees on probation whenever they feel like it without due process, even if someone in your family is seriously ill they will not consider even for 1 sec, you have to go you payout the total 2 months salary and nit just the basic part. 1. Company calls themselves 'new age consulting' but basically a typical sub-par consulting firm following or copying data from competitors & other unverified data and makeup some report. 2. Company says they value work learning etc, but they have any learning opportunities 3. Expectation is to work 18hrs (seriously) for whole week. okay on weekends let's say 10hrs. 4. Management is so confused they might fire you at any instant Facts: 1. Micromanagement at highest level 2. Does'nt provide basic tools and budget to conduct job activities. eg. they expect to use ur personal linkedin profile (no premium subscription provided) for randomly spaming leads. 3. 90% attrition rate every year (they use this to say : we are healthy company thats why we hire every year) 4. So smart they try to get every resource and humanly energy out of you. 5. Top down toxic and unrealistic expectation. HR basically puppets 6. Fun fact: if you are IIM A grad you join as manager (even if you are fresher), otherwise how much you do, nothing comes out of it (as they promote as a batch because ppl leave at all levels) 7. They say have these many ppl and offices when there are only 2 actual office. 8. Finally there are no experienced professional expect for founders in consulting domain. So you can know by now how much you can learn. 9. Dont fall for salary and lose your career. If you dont trust these, please join and attend project kickoff meet and hear CEO's talk then you will know. - Tried but did not get a Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification - Very high levels of attrition signal some substantial underlying cause; as a result, missing company culture - History of ugly exits - I can count 10 names right now who ended their employment on bad terms - Pitiful P&A policy - you are 'bound' to stay in the organization for 6/12 months if you are given a promotion. Add another 2 months towards the promotion effective date and another 2 months of notice period. Accordingly, if you leave the company in 10/16 months of your promotion, you need to payback all your incremental salary (I was made to repay INR 1.5L) - Never mention that you are quitting to go to a competitor firm; it won't go well with the senior management ego - Employee and even managers are not always spoken to respectfully; there is an issue with the way employees are viewed as 'resources' fundamentally - Minimal focus on employee welfare; greater focus on maximizing employee productivity (it bothers the mgmt. if someone got a couple of light days after a project) - Limited support in terms of professional databases or analytical tools, only have access to Tracxn. Case teams are sometimes asked to cold-call and find leads from their personal network - All decisions regarding rartings, P&A, leaves, WFH, reimbursements, bonus, notice period and other employee-related matters are too centralized and controlled by the senior mgmt; HR merely a spokesperson - No dedicated tech team in place, some consultants work extra hours to fill their shoes - Sent in 169 employee referrals, HR couldn't even convert 1, even in Research Services - Outdated compliance checks in place - there is a KYP manual document signing system which is pretty cumbersome for employees and reviewers both - No PraxDigital team in place as announced in campus placements...Read More
