It's a good organization for female.

Lots of field work causes different medical conditions like spondylitis and back pain. Apart from that work life balance is not there as have to think about work 24*7 and expectations are an executive can do each and everything which causes difficulty for the executive.

Pradan is a great place to get your feet wet in the development sector. There cannot be anything better than starting at the grassroots, assessing community needs at the very basic level and working with tribal communities. It is an experience to cherish for a lifetime. The payscale is excellent according to industry standards. I haven't heard of any other Non-profit paying as well as Pradan does.

Dislikes

The teams are placed in the remotest areas of India hence making it impossible for someone to have a social life/circle beyond work. It really teaches you the tough way of life. There isn't much scope of growth in terms of skills. Some team environments are toxic and make young development apprentices feel very threatened and untalented.

There is no role definition at all. You are expected to do EVERYTHING! It's fun for a while until you run out of energy.

No sense of insecurity during COVID-19 in terms of pay cut or losing job. Even in terms of regular work the HR and personnel policies help in constructive work environment, contributes to regular salary review and increment and personal as well as professional growth.
