Earlier firm was not providing laptops to anyone, Joiners were asked to bring machines on their own cost for which firm was NOT paying anything. But recently (from last 1 / 2 years) firm started to provide laptop to all employees including new joiners.

Dislikes

No clear policies (HR is only puppet). It differs from branch to branch / person to person. No Travelling Allowances for local travelling to client place. No reimbursement of mobile expenses / Internet Expenses if incurred by employee even if travelling out of station. Appraisal Policy: Appraisals cycle is of 18 months.(If joined on 1st Apr 20 then 1st Appraisal will be due on 1st Oct 21 and next will be on 1st Apr 23). Corona Effect: Since it is pandemic, firm expect cooperation from employees but itself don't cooperate. Salaries are delayed by 1 month since April 2020 salary till date. Not a good place to be, off lately they are in financial problem as salaries are not paid or delayed and bonuses are promised but not paid, they ll make fake promises & many commitments but will not honour them. Always they ll give excuse that people have not submitted their timesheet. and those who do not fill timesheet do not exist in the system My friends are still working here but most of them are not happy. Performance assessment is off track and they don't want to pay but exploit work from people. Poor commitment, defensive attitude, no planning , they will not review your work and after client follows up they ll harass you, if you say anything to them then they ll take revenge including partner who does the same thing. Never fall in the trap of bonus they will never pay and will make you beg very much for the same and make more delay in paying your money and give excuse which will keep peddling for decisions from chennai office.
