In the starting of the pandemic Piramal foundation took care of their employees by taking sessions for the mental and emotional health etc. extending the time period of work from home.

Dislikes

Right now, we are in a pandemic situation, where Piramal Foundation has taken a good stand for their employees and fellows that is to do work from home. There are many new programs, fellowship and campaigns are coming frequently and day by day changes happening to it, and that is very natural as the organization is molding in a new shape, and it gets easy to accept and work on these changes with dedication when we are mentally emotionally and socially fit or fine. the thing which made me disappoint is when the higher authorities like PM,PD and CTM of the foundation are calling PLs and fellows on the locations. Even after receiving the work from home mail from the CEO. In which it is clearly mention that staff is not allowed to interact with the internal and outer team (government stakeholder), it's not welcome to conduct or become part of internal or other meetings and visit any offices even offices of our stakeholders. I am staying alone at the location (My team members called me to come back at location) so I reached here on the 6th Oct 2020. because after 30th September I received mail on 6th and in between the CTM and other team member forced to be at the location to do visits and handle governance.) There is no one to interact, for last 7 days I have not been on field and doing the work which I used to do from my home. not having people surrounding me and not having any one presence hampering my Mental-Emotional and physical health. As I am very social person and loves to talk, interact with people face to face. when I raised my concern and shared my plan to travel back to my home, people refused me. my concern is getting neglected by showing me unreality of other location. Now I am feeling uncomfortable to share my concern with my team members under the fair of getting judged. I feel that it's a disrespect to the decision made by the foundation only. Management were supportive throughout the pandemic. Also health of employees were at the foremost than anything else. Salary on time, sessions of cognitive based compassion therapy and emergency response team were set up for convenience of employees.
