It's not very great as per me tbh. Only thing I like is that the timings are Indian and we get two days leave which are usual sat and Sunday. No cab service, no such scope of growth and no permanency as you won't be on Pearson pay roll. Many employees are on contract basis which gets renewed every six months.

Dislikes

Many things but don't want to mention here. But one thing is that if you stay late in office, you are considered better than the ones who come early and work for 8 and half hours and leave early.

In my 16-year-long career in publishing, I have worked with various Indian and MNC publishing companies. So far, Pearson has been the best company I have worked with. It provides ample growth and skill-development opportunities. The work culture is amazing. HR is very strong and you get to learn a lot. A lot of engagement activities and off-site events are organised to break the monotony.

Dislikes

I believe there is some politics at top management level because of which attrition rate is quite high at that level. Also, I feel, a woman's path to senior management is longer than that of a man with same or even less skills and experience.

I am a portfolio manager and get to work closely with different functions, such as sales, production, rights and permission, finance, marketing, and manufacturing. I love my work and am very satisfied with my career at Pearson.

Pearson is world's largest lerning company...helps people to grow in work standards...but due to some group of people entered into company and ruined Pearson India business with unethical work practice

The unethical way of layoff happened during pandamic situation....and managers don't have any knowledge about the product....they keep in PIP even in pandamic situation ie complete lockdown in 2020....without knowing the market dynamics they will assign the targets....In my tenure of 4 yrs...2.5 yrs went well...then the work-life became miserable due to unethical work practice....no leadership qualities to the managers...HR Role is zero...only managers dictate the terms.......Read More

Overall experience was good...bit from may 2019 the scenario.got changed...political people came into picture and spoiled the entire system...pulled gown the revenue aswell..

Pearson as a company is terrific. their TA and Da for on tour employees at work are also the best in the industry. They have a great incentive structure too.

Dislikes

the current management is the worst in the country. From top to bottom they are all incompetent and they always put their share of the blame on the lowest level of employees and make them the scapegoat for their inadequacies. They give you unachievable targets and keep pressurizing you. Also when you resign they will never give youthe clearance and make you suffer.
