The work culture is super cool and professional The learning curve and its corresponding graphs on our career are noticeable. On-boarding and exit including F & F are seamless - Great HR team

A flat hierarchical structure is followed, for senior roles such as Portfolio management/DGM/GM/Director, internal talents are not given a chance to prove through an interview or any other quantitative or qualitative analysis. Successors being given a chance with promotion is not equivalent to giving chance to internal talents</mark>. If MD and business heads keep changing the thought process keeps changing and before success or failure hits, the new leader sets a new pathway, and with no choice left, the path is adopted. Products are created and then customers are forced to consume resulting in lower sales, customer-centric products if evolve are stopped without evaluating the market impact through a pilot. If an author is on-boarded whether the book sells or not, an author needs to be heard by the senior management at least once a year. New products push into the market by sales are very low and dilutes the motivation to build anything new, these are a few of the vital observations....Read More

Teammates were very egoistic especially the senior managers. Not even a single product training was given. Every time your senior manger will threaten you will loose your job this time..Shouldn't expect career growth in Pearson which remains a day dream only. Very good teammates and siniors always a compettive mind which enhance our performance good. Trainning is simply excellent. As long as you are a performer every where you are secure, So Pearson is also a proffesional organization so you have to be a performer, but if you perform well, then pearson is a very rewarding and awarding company, I am one of the performar in Pearson and within one and half year I got the Branch Head position. Salary as per your negotitation you will get, Every year minimum 15% to 20 % hike on avereage appraisal, and for performer its going more then this hike. Every day is a learning skill, learning tool for me at Pearson, I leart alot from there. Pearson is a kind of organization where you can apply your own new tactice or technique in marketing. you can apply your own strategies to drive the operation, but you have to be the insside the parameters of the organization. work environment is too good, collegues are very helpfull, HR is also very good. Yes work life balancing is very good. Travel policy also very good they give advance with that you complete your tour and after that you can submitt the bill, its a good relief for we marketing people and so that I can able to be on tour up to 28 /30 days in out of station, and I could explore the market and even the interior place I can able to visit and I crack good deals....Read More

As far as my tenure (Duration) at Pearson I don,t have any bad experience in Pearson. So honestly cant say anything bad about the organization. Because the incentives, my reimbursements, Health insurance I got on time, As I work from different locations of eastern and north eastern part so I dont have any office neither I have any collegues , I had work by my own. So naturally I was not a victim of politics, and neither I had any kind of negative vibes from the employees, and the collegue who seats at corporate office in Banglore they are extremely cooperative....Read More
