Lots of Politics in the system. Many Fraudulent activities happen openly and top management is also aware of the same but still no one does anything. You have to put back 20-25% of your salary back in certain ways to retain your position and make grade for variable payout. The worst work culture I have ever seen in my entire career.You have to satisfy the state head’s ego to continue in the system. Companies like EMT and MMT has stopped recruiting people from OYO because the activities happen in OYO. OYO is not just a Company its a Mafia who loot Hoteliers and Play with the Career of their Own Employees...Read More

I liked nothing about working at OYO

I joined OYO as BD in Goa and could hardly stayed there for 4 months not because I was not able to meet the target but because leadership team forced us to literally use our own hard earned money to onboard new patrons and recharge their wallet so that they could show that business is Happening which I find illegitimate practice. Brand image is also bad in the market. My reporting manager whom I was reporting to forced us to recharge patron wallet threatening he won't approve fuels expenses and other thing otherwise. As an MBA I understand that model of operating business is not sustainable which is why all BD(5 of us) left within 3 months of joining. I SUGGEST OYO to take time and review business shown by Goa leadership team to understand the actual sustainable profit....Read More

Very poor leadership, the organisation doesn't care about your work life balance. Shady deals, unfulfilled promises to customers and an absolute lack of culture. Unethical to the bone

Dislikes

Unethical company which focuses on numbers are ver everything else. Unpredictable workplace doesnt help either. But the biggest issue is the scam which offer as their tie ups with hotels.

The work is exciting, since it is business development but the near everyday grilling by BD head (disrespectfully) doesnt encourage positivity in the work environment
