I have not used your company they could not find me work for the past year.

I delt with a consultant who promised me work, aware I had traveled to sydney to find some, She said there was a job and then when it was canceled did not notify me. I sat in Sydney for another two weeks and when i went to another company I called and said will not be avaliable. She calleed me back saying If I took work some where else she would never use again. I was working for two days and she called me each day saying if I did not stop and leave the job straight away she would black list me. I kept working for to days. I tried complaining to manager who would not listen. She tried calling centerlink bad mouthing me and my work. When I left Sydney I told the office saying I was leaving do not contact me. She kept calling me later saying she had a job in Sydney starting that day or the next mourning calling me at night. Saying if I did not show up she would have me thrown off the dole. My replys got very short. The company even called me this year asking what the mess was about and when can I come back to work for your company....Read More

I have worked in Brisbane for Momentum doing casual day work for a few years. Suddenly they changed and started calling demanding not asking was available for a job. I would have to jump in car and drive through night to Brisey and do a days work as a scaffolder. They than started calling saying they wanted me That mourning on site and they knew I live in NSW and could not be there. It takes four hours to drive to Brisey. I traveled to Sydney last year and went to see Momentum. They said they would give me a job on the Monday. I went to see them after turning down a days work with other company and see wy they had not sent address. They just said Oh the jobs canceled. I waited for a week and no work. I went to another agancy and they gave me work straight away. While on the job Momentum called me and demanded I start, not ask, on a job they found. I exsplained I was on a job and could not do this. I was told off and abused for working for another company. I went to see tham a few days latter and they complained saying why did I not go to the site they ordered me to. I exsplained I had but there was no job there. The contract was given to some one else. I ws not paid for showing up. I exsplained was going back to Lismore where I live do not call me or asign me work. I repeatedly got calls from consultent demanding I start on sights in Sydney that day or in the mourning when called at 930 at night. I repeatedly exsplained that I could not do this it was impossaple because Lived 15 hrs drive from Sydney. I would need to arrange accomidation. They said it is only a one day job. I exsplained I would let them know next time I was in Sydney and available for work. Had done before leaving sydney. They said not exceptable I am told am labled a bad worker....Read More

Dislikes

I disliked telling and exsplaining to consultents that I am living out side of a metro area in far off rural area. Will travel to metro areas to fill contracts. Then being called and demanded not asked and ordered or yelled at on phone to be on sights I have no idea where they are or how to get there. I may need to jump in car and drive four hours just to get to city, or travel cross state and arange to stay temp accomidation , have contract fall through, I mean I am offering to fill casual work for you. I know work is in cities. However need to arrange to travel there and do this to earn money working for you. I exsplain this to your consultents but they just call and demand. When I go to office and say am leaving city, can not do more work. They call and demand anyways as some sort of joke....Read More
