I had the unfortunate experience of working with Meril, and I can confidently say that it is not a place where you can learn or grow professionally. The entire HR department lacks the basic skills and knowledge required to run an effective HR function. There is a noticeable absence of professionalism, and instead, the environment isfull of office politics. The HR leadership is not proactive or competent, with many heads showing up after 11:00 am and hardly demonstrating any sense of urgency or responsibility. Environment is very good. The seniors, teammates are cooperative and welcome new initiatives. Compensation is fair, provided your performance is exemplary.

Dislikes

At times internal politics takes toll on you especially when you deliver 9/10 jobs. That 1 job which you didn't do ( because it was never a priority) will be marked by your boss and no proper handover.

Sorted until you deliver what is asked for. Got chance to learn in depth the different functions of my dept., Though i struggled at the beginning as there was no proper handover.
