I've been with LUMIQ for over seven years, and it's remarkable how leadership continually challenges us with high-quality tech projects. We always work with the latest technology, and trust is a huge part of the culture-if you have issues, you report them and seek help (even the founders are approachable). In my capacity as a Team Lead, I enjoy leading key initiatives and seeing my team push boundaries together....Read More
Work hours can become intense due to delivery commitments, and sometimes we travel to client offices on very short notice. The global expansion and new processes add to the pressure, especially since I am vegetarian. Some large customers can be quite demanding, and we often need to repeat explanations to them and their higher-ups. Although remove fast, processes can slow us down. Returning to the office full-time is tricky after years of remote work and no official leave policy. There's also a strong focus on certifications, which can feel overwhelming....Read More

Only thing to like is the grind. Great company for freshers who want to mature up fast. An average 2-3 year in Lumiq will give you the experience of 5-6 years. Very few companies let interns and first years near their production code, here you will be pressured to perform. Great for freshers.
Once you hit 2-3 year experience here, the good things fade away. You start to realise that the pressure cooker condition is not for your development, it is the only way things are done at this company. Management is completely cut off from the ground staff, HR department is in shambles in terms of managing any sort of expectations, policies made are extremely generic and are enforced at the leisure of the "people success team", CEO blames developer's deliverables for poor performance of the company and salaries have not been coming on time for a long time. Instead of reassuring, the HR chooses to avoid hard topics like pending salaries and bonuses, chooses to enforce strict in time but refuses to acknowledge their employees, even if few in number, do work after hours. There are a few architects who want to run the show their way given they have given a decade of their lives to this company and the relatively newer HR department is always at odds with them resulting in devs being quashed in the middle. New managers are not allowed to work according to their style, constantly berated by everyone who has been here longer. Overall, good company to get exposure and leave quickly. Treat it as a very good stepping stone....Read More

Not so much
Within one year of joining, company has changed the policies multiple times especially work from home, first it was flexible then changed to 2 days in a week, then changed to no work from home. The working hours have been changed multiple times, there is a strict punch in policy but no punch out, working overtime does not provide any appreciation or compensation. Micromanagement is at its peak. Work review is being reported to different hierarchy, to the manager, delivery partner and then to the CEO also. Payment of Salary has been delayed for 1.5 months of time since NOV 2024. The variable pay has not been paid since last two quarters. Life has been squeezed from Work life balance....Read More

LUMIQ's strong mentorship culture makes it a great place to learn and grow. The training programs for both new and existing employees help us stay current with the latest tools and best practices. I joined as a "NUMIQer" and had the chance to move from 15k per month to 8.5 LPA ONE I completed the K2 program -some folks did it successfully, although I couldn't. Even the CEO is hands-on with tech. The head of the technology still codes and holds live session....Read More
I'd love more employee engagement activities outside regular work. While there are occasional parties, many miss out because of busy schedules, and senior management usually appears only once or twice a year. Recently, finance underwent a major restructuring, which delayed salary. They were transparent about it, but no delays would be ideal.

This is my second role in insurance, coming from the industry side, and I really respect how LUMIQ embraces innovation and emerging tech. We don't' have strict clock in times, although arrival and departure are noted. There's is no pay cut or leave deduction for being late or work remotely. Salaries got delayed last month, but the CEO team were transparent about it. Everyone is very tech-savvy. I'm expected to handle both business analysis and data-related tasks. Plus the office has a cool setup with pool and table tennis....Read More
Working on diverse project is great, but the clash between customer and lumiq's culture can be confusing. I'm not fond of working from customer sites when required, because some are quite old school and even lack decent network.

There's a good mix of new talent and experienced pros at LUMIQ, which makes a great learning environment. I've had opportunities to work on different projects and broaden my skills. Nobody here shies away from change-it's very tech driven place.
I sometimes wish for more structured mentorship from senior colleague. People who do well on one project can get sent on-site, even if they're freshers. Meanwhile, Indian client can be extremely demanding. Seniority in years doesn't matter much here, everyone here is expected to weigh in and juniors ask a lot of questions too.

As a content specialist, I have the chance to work on varied marketing projects across different teams, which keeps the role interesting. There's a strong push for using GenAI and LLMs every day, and management wants us to consult these tools before asking colleagues. Founders and leaderships also tend to ask juniors members to speak first in meetings, which can be tough for newer team members.
Sometimes, the content guidelines feel limiting, making creativity harder. Also, the new ways of working can be challenging.

Being a Project manager at LUMIQ offers valuable exposure to the market and the chance to connect with stakeholders. I've also been involved in AI- based projects, and I appreciate that management supports growth with new processes to keep us aligned, even though data projects can be quite complicated.
Some projects come with unclear goals, both from customers and LUMIQ leadership, causing confusion. The customer's first mentality can clash with staying on budget and on schedule. Constantly chasing clients for sign-offs can be a real pain.

I joined LUMIQ two years ago, and I'm still getting used to its high-tech, fast-paced, and competitive culture. The products and services here are all about deep data and AI, which can be difficult to fully grasp for sales professionals like me. Fortunately, the founders even jump in to help with slides and edits when we're in urgent need.
Long cycles are expected, but the coordination between solutions, architects, sales and finance has become more complex than it was a few years ago. Everyone demands thorough preparation, so you need to be ready for anything. Sales target pay-out are tied to revenue realisation, and the company expects salespeople to run the first meeting independently-this means a lot of preparation upfront.

I didn't like anything like if I talked about the culture.
My experience with Lumiq has been extremely disappointing. Salary payments are often delayed, and the company fails to provide the promised performance bonus. Their rigid attendance policy requires employees to be in the office before 10:30 AM; otherwise, they are marked absent. The level of micromanagement is excessive, making the work environment highly stressful. Work-from-home (WFH) opportunities are granted selectively, favoring only those who are close to management, while others who genuinely need it are denied. Overall this is one of the worst companies I have worked with, and I would not recommend it to anyone....Read More
