If you want to learn & grow in your career PwC will make the way for you. There is no restrictions on the amount, type, hours of work you want to put in. You can work from anywhere you want until there is a requirement to be present at client site.
Work life balance is terrible here. Join PwC only when you are willing to invest atleast 11-12 hours a day for work. In most of the cases/project you are thrown in the ocean you have to learn to swim & survive. You have to build connections & make way forward. Timings wise there is no confirm time of work, weekends also you’ll have to work if required.

It has been great experience working in PwC India for last 2 years. Overall work culture, job satisfaction and quality of work is really good. Also everyone is very supportive whenever needed. Medical Insurance policy is great though copay is raised to 15% from this year. Hybrid work policy is another key aspects here.
There is always a good learning path in this company but only problem is one might difficulty to extract some times for learn things as work pressure remains constant and high most of the times. Also compensation wise, PwC is renowned but unfortunately last year hike percentage was very bad. Hope this will improve from the coming years.

Learning opportunities are immense. Try working for the Indian partner firms and not the US offices. The growth there, will be better despite the lower pay. Work life balance in the ACs (US offices) are better Work life balance in the Indian partner firms is a lot worse and more client facing Pay in the US offices is far greater but stagnates as the growth opportunities are lower. In the US partner firms, the US engagement team calls the shots and you’re an offshore resource. You do have a say in the decision making process and get to experience the end to end delivery but rarely will be running an entire project on your own. The above varies not just within the PwC teams but also within the individual clientdelivery teams. So your mileage may vary.
