Got an offer from KOCH. You have two options 1. Ditch the offer and look for alternate offers in the market. 2. Slap urself and read the first option. Message to Leadership - Your silence and resilience to forced terminations either says ur with it or you dont care.. Either ways, you never know when tables turn.
1. While the market talks about AI in recruiting and using platforms like Github, Stakoverflow etc. The leader of the recruiting org uses hard copies of presentation to understand basic concepts. If the leadership is far from technology how do you expect the recruiting team to transform the working style. Often uses phone camera to scan payment barcodes and payment scanners to click photos. 2. Extremely political, bureaucratic environment where the TA leader hates listening "NO" as an answer and if you think differently, well your days will be numbered. 3. The leader practices the old age pre independence era concept of "Divide and rule". Has created disparity within the team, where every one fears that their colleagues are against them which makes his job safe. 4. No understanding of ground work, no respect to time of juniors, and work with an attitude that is harming koch but the local leadership is least bothered, as they are happy with a "YES BOSS" guy to support their irrational needs. 5. Huge attrition is technology business, the tech leader also moved out due to such political environment. The ones who stay are desperately looking out for jobs. 6. Their understanding of growth means downsizing of resources. Hundreds of involuntary and forced terminations occurred in last one year but they dont bother. 7. * Flexible timings (even though center pushes for 5 day working). * Pay is competitive in IT but not so in Finance * Show that you know/practice PBM and work can take a back seat, bad news it shall make you non hirable in the market.
* Most decisions are supposed to be taken by supervisors, but funny that their decision rights are only on paper. They are held accountable for decisions that they dont even take. * There have been multiple attritions in last couple of months, guess how many voluntary VS Involuntary? * Leadership doesnt understand the diff between use and abuse of PBM. Its funny that you can use the same culture conversation to give someone a huge pay and also throw someone out, just need to be a good speaker. *Multiple leadership changes across levels that happen overnight, which changes the dynamics of the team. *One could wake up to realize they have been fired on the same day, without notice/ or compensation. * I heard there were good number of employees from the HR team who left all of a sudden in the same way.
