I appreciate that the working culture at Kilowott is very friendly. Many activities conducted by HR are really commendable. No one here shows senirority up to the Director level. The HR team is always conscious about employee benefits. Everything works in a proper system. There is no politcs like other MNCs. seniors always try theirbest to support juniors in ltheir career growth and benefit also your critical task. There are no strict timings or deductions. There HR team is always ready to help you at every step , whether its your personal or financial issue. some aspects that could be improved include the absence of transportation reimbursement or cab facilities, limited medical services, and the lack of provision for loans or advances during emergencies. While these benifits are discretionary , their absence can sometimes pose challenges for individuals.

Having been a part of the company for the past three years, I can assert that my experience has been largely positive. The nature of projects is challenging and provides numerous learning opportunities. The leadership team is supportive and forward-thinking, cultivating an environment of trust.

Dislikes

Work hours of 8hrs 30 min is exhausting for the software engineer and not as per industry standard. Some of the processes need to be improved which makes working too complicated and hinders organization growth. Employee benefit policy has to be improved a lot because of which most of the people seems to leave the company.

One of the best thing about Kilowott is the work/office culture. Everyone enjoys doing there work and always helpful if you are in need. They also have permanent work form home job roles and its amazing. There are a lot of technologies to work with and they always put employees preferences on top. Overall a great environment to work in.

Dislikes

Only one thing I would like to see is there should be more benefits for an employee especially if someone is really putting their efforts because in that way the employee will be more enthusiastic towards their work.

I have a few concerns about Kilowott, such as the absence of bonuses and no provision for occasion gifts like during Diwali. Additionally, the lack of overtime compensation is the point of dissatisfaction for me. I also find it inconvenient that Kilowott does not cover internet service charges for remote work, and there is no provision for providing company-owned laptops or devices for the job or official tasks. The culture is great. I mean the best part for me is that there is no office politics. People are friendly. I can't say everyone but many take time to help you out when stuck or answer your endless queries. I took this position as a permanent work-from-home and there has never been an event where we were asked to mandatorily attend.

Dislikes

The working hours are usually flexible in regards to when you clock in and start working. But you are to complete 8.5 hours a day (excluding lunch and other breaks) which is a lot especially if you work honestly and hence it'll be like your entire day is consumed. There are times when we need to meet deadlines and may have worked for 10-11 hours but we can't compensate for them by leaving early when no work. I mean there's an option to apply for partial leave(can leave early or join late twice a month) but you have to apply and give a reason and all and so I end up not using that just because I worked more the previous day....Read More
