While working for ITC limited FMCG verticals, namely Cigarettes, Foods and Personal care. The easiest to work for is cigarettes as it needs not to be sold. It gets off the shelf itself. And workload is minimal. Then comes Personal care which has least value contribution as well as less work pressure too. Toughest division to work for is undoubtedly the Foods division wherein you have a very very vast product portfolio and company tracks billing of all at outlet level, which makes it even worse. If you get posted in a tourist visiting town, you'll have a lot of company official visits for which you'll have to decorate the market inside out with ITC products, which is really tough. Company doesn't provide good training and expects the employee to learn all by himself. There are so many company specific softwares and apps which we have to learn all by ourselves. Then if you get into foods. You'll face a lot of problems as over 250 products are there in the arsenal, which they expect that we must sell and not even lose out on even a single sku.
