Info Edge is parent company to Naukri, where the work life balance is good. Employees are treated well. Of course this would be a good place to start your career but should not stay more than 2- 3 years. Growth and learning will go down after this point.

I am writing the about Naukri whose parent company is Info Edge. The salary and growth part is very low. Career wise we cannot stick to the role or company for a long term. Maximum 3 years. Post which the company will stop giving you a good appraisals. All the learnings can be done in 2 years post which it not a advise able to stay in the company.

There is no work life balance. The work pressure is too high and failing to meet your targets can lead to salary deductions and a lot of scolding from all the managers. You're also forced to work on weekends from morning till 10pm at night.

There was nothing to like about. Everything was like torchere.

Dislikes

Environment of the office was very harrasing that no one can perform there. A lot of pressure, A lot of politics and unhealthy environment. Unsafe for female, unhealthy flirting was there by the seniors. No job security they will fire you in a hour. Not suggesting to anyone to join that organisation.

There’s alot I could say here The policy in this organisation is inconsistent. in my department it is mandatory to work from office but other teams and managers freely choose to work from home whenever they want. Managers are quick to email or message you about arriving and leaving the office on time . But they themselves come and go as they please As for appraisals, it’s nothing short of a joke. HR and managers will pressure you to fill out and update your goals. But when appraisal time comes, they completely disregard your KRAs and evaluate you based on unrelated factors. It's a great company to work in. I myself got a lot of cross functional opportunities which helped me learn and grow in my career. Overall the company culture is very good and positive. If compared to other companies, I feel happy for being a part of Infoedge

The increment and promotion philosophy is a bit old school. It really need to be worked upon.

Excellent company to start and build your career, very structured and process oriented. You will learn good sales and relationship management, they give good amount of time to learn and grow. Management and managers are communicative to correct and guide you get your best out and keep you motivated.

Dislikes

What ever I said in likes session has turned tables now with the management change, it feels like talking to a wall about your work update and no proper guidance to groom you. No constant feedback from mangers to correct and groom. Not even gestures of appreciation from the work or good deals. you just blame game when you tip your balance and point all the mistakes you did in the course of time rather correct it then and there....Read More
