Team work good, training scope not good except on job training, 100% job security, no carrier growth except officers level, good salary, travel facility good, dirty union cultures, work environment gradually improving, innovation not up to the mark, technical no work life balance.

As an civil engineer it is difficult to learn and development of skill is a mirage. No promotions and career growth can be expected even after 20 to 30 years of service especially in civil engineering department for Group C employees. Work distribution and duties are not specific and one have to do another persons work and as other person denies to do the work. Cooperation from the co workers cannot be expected. Quality can not be given first priority in civil dept of railways. No provision and permission will be given higher studies for the Group C employees....Read More
