Only good thing is that it's a government job. That's it. Rest is worst. Don't come do a private job. After NPS it doesn't even have free pension.

No personal time. Leave don't get approved. Posting is so remote that you won't a soul to talk to. Just avoid it. It's pathetic job with zero future. This job experience won't get you anywhere.

Scope of work not defined, despite being an engineer the works in which we are involved ar totally non core , contract work have been a great headache , have to deal with the unskilled and complacent kind of personnel, no work life balance due to 24 hours services, despite with huge responsibility we posses minimal powers , other department does not cordinate accordingly, always afraid of getting chargesheet or punishment even in small negligence, no career growth if directly recruited as sse, very less scope of switching jobs , establishment related issue does not get solved easily even in case of salary matters ,no facility of recreational activities,Babu's are the bosses even if he is lower in grade pay...Read More
