Working with with Indian armed forces is itself an honour... The self discipline uget imbibed within u automatically and it helps in dealing with all the situations with a positive attitude. Life is all about learning and the Indian Navy is indeed a sea of opportunities.. happy to be a part of the Indian Navy . Jai Hind Jai Bharat!!!

Nothing in particular. All was great..leave was the only issue.apart from that all was good.

Work Details

Worked as a technical person in Aviation wing of Indian Navy wherein used to look after various technical aspects of the Indian Naval Aircraft.. got real job satisfaction whenever we used to get the aircraft ready for next sortie..

I have to chose between Virtusa and Accenture depending on below details: Accenture Fixed CTC = 27.5 LPA + 27% Variable Pay Virtusa Fixed CTC = 24 LPA + 10% Variable Pay which is 100% payable every six months = 27.4 LPA (Total) Virtusa is saying Client may absorb after 6 months and may give depending on the market standards. It's a great honor to work in a force and serve for the nation. I got good training, discipline, punctuality, dedication, team work and lot other things from Indian Navy which makes me different from the others.

Dislikes

Some times we feel rank differences but I managed.

Dislikes

The severance package for Short Service Commissioned Officers isn't as per the recommendations of various committees. Short Service Officers are left to fend for themselves after completion of their tenure. Subsequent transition to corporate is hard and mentally taxing.

Autocracy of commissioned officer- commissioned officers are using their position wrongly. They don't think about others they are selfish and humiliating sailors. This is applicable for some of the officers. Needs to be improved
